Or maybe your school hosted a school assembly program that was fun, amazing, and interactive… but the message was weak.
Now more than ever, you need a program that doesn’t waste your students’ and teachers’ time. Your kids deserve an assembly program that excites kids, fires up their imagination, and gets them involved.
And the program needs to cover curriculum-based subjects like reading, science, and math.
Sounds like a tall order. Fortunately, I can help.
I’m Joe Romano
and for the last 30 years, I’ve captivated thousands of students each year with my school assemblies in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina.
Here's what one client said:
“Amazing! My kids thought the assembly rocked… but the best part… was when Joe got the kids quiet at the end of the show… this is a teacher's dream! Thank you Joe Romano!”
Cheryl Vaughn, 1st grade teacher
Twin Hickory Elementary School - Henrico County, VA

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I have a file cabinet full of letters and emails school principals, teachers, and PTA/PTO parents have written to me after performing my school assemblies at their NJ, NY, VA, PA, and NC schools.
Let's Face It: Holding the attention of 300-400 students for an entire school assembly program is not easy. So how do I do it? I use several presentational ‘hooks’ to grab the attention of students and hold them the entire time. Here’s just a few ways:
Imagine this. Your students walk into the assembly area. They immediately notice bright, colorful backdrops and banners. It’s a feast for the eyes and gets them interested and engaged before the show even starts!
Kids love magic! I use incredible amazing magic that ‘wows’ your youngest students while holding the attention of the harder-to-please older grades. They won’t believe what they’re seeing!
People of all ages already spend enough time passively watching things on TV, YouTube, and more. Elementary school students love my shows because they get to be involved! Depending on the school show I’m presenting, your kids might help make the magic happen, participate in wild science experiments, or solve a math problem using their super powers!
Scientific data shows kids (and adults!) benefit from laughter.* It lowers stress, has major health benefits, and can help us stay mentally healthy. Learning is an important subject, one to be taken seriously. But injecting some humor into our learning helps everyone!

The ‘wow’ factor when kids see my backdrops is magnified with catchy, toe-tapping music! I use music and fun sound effects to bring even more life and fun to the show. No dry “Ferris Bueller’s teacher” lecturing in these assembly programs!
There are a lot of school performers who can get your students whipped up into a frenzy. But many don’t have the skills to weave in important messages.
My clients love my assemblies because I’m an expert at getting the messages, concepts, and lessons across in a way your kids will absorb and remember.
But don’t take my word for it. Here’s what another school client had to say about my ability to get complex lessons across to students:
“Joe Romano has a way of engaging students and keeping them focused as he delivers messages about the importance of reading… Highly recommended!”
Principal Harry Walker

That’s just one school praising my ability to combine fun with important lessons. By now you might be wondering…
I’ve been performing fun school assemblies for 30 years. That’s a looooong time! I keep the shows updated. They constantly evolve to reflect not only the changing curriculums of schools but kids themselves!

I’ve partnered with several amazing performers, too. We can offer school assemblies in NJ, NY, NC., PA, MD, VA, DE, NC, and Washington DC.
