The right
math school assembly solves a big problem. You may have experienced it as a child.
Did you think math was boring when you were younger? A lot of kids do.
And many kids don’t think math is useful once they get out of school.
Sadly, a lot of adults feel the same way!
But math is in our everyday lives. You can find math in games, food, sports…math is everywhere!
I’m
school assembly presenter Joe Romano. I’ve made it my mission to get students excited about math.
For the last 30 years, I have delivered fun and engaging school assemblies in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, Washington DC, and North Carolina.
I love math! And I know with the right “push,” your students will too!
In
Superhero Math, I take your students on an incredible journey and reinforce key math concepts in a way that’s fun and magical.
Yup, magical!
By combining magic with superheroes, I have created a unique, one-of-a-kind assembly show kids love.
Thanks to the Marvel MCU, superheroes are at an all-time high in popularity. And with television shows like Penn & Teller’s “Fool Us,” magic has never been hotter!
Fortunately, the right math school assembly program can show your students how exciting and useful math is!
Superhero Math is filled with:
Your kids will be having so much fun they won’t realize they are learning!
Kids (and adults) retain a LOT more information when they are actively engaged in the learning process.
Wacky sound effects and colorful scenery helps focus kids’ attention and captivate them from beginning to end.
Social media and mobile devices are causing our attention spans to shrink each year. I keep my shows fast-moving and fun, without any long, drawn-out lectures.

Just like my science assemblies and Read Across America assemblies, I pack a lot of content into Superhero Math. I know how valuable class time is!
I make sure the time you and your students spend with me is valuable and reinforces important parts of your curriculum.
Throughout the zaniness and mayhem of my math show, your kids will hear and see lessons about:
But don’t worry. I don’t lecture the kids about math terminology and put them to sleep.
If I just came out and talked to your students about math and follow it up with unrelated magic tricks, that would be a poor show and a waste of your class time.
Instead, the magic, games, and audience interaction I use integrates the math topics into my magic routines.
Here are just a few highlights from
Superhero Math:
Using 6 giant comic books, I get students involved in a fun probability segment!
I borrow a teacher’s ring, vanish it, and it reappears inside a gumball machine! Along the way, students learn a valuable lesson in estimation!
Kids get an astonishing lesson in measurements with magic wands that start small… eventually becoming a whopping 12-FOOT IN LENGTH!
This Las Vegas-style illusion teaches your students about fractions, and I cause my arm to split into 3 pieces!
I know what you’re thinking: “This sounds like fun…but how do I know you’re any good?”
I understand how you feel. I’ve heard horror stories for decades about school assembly programs that don’t teach anything.
We’ve also seen school assemblies that were loaded with content…but were boring! You know the ones. Students started fidgeting and poking each other to amuse themselves.
That doesn’t happen in my shows! I strike the right balance between fun and lessons. But don’t take my word for it. Many schools bring me back year after year!
Just like this client:
